What should you do after a bicycle accident in Washington?

Free Case Evaluation

If possible you need to collect as much information from everyone at the scene as you can and call the police.  If you are seriously injured and unable to do this you need to have someone investigate the accident for you.  The accident scene may need to be documented with photos and the police need to know your side of the story.

Often whena bicyclist leaves the scene and isn't able to talk to the police right away a bias against the rider can show up in the police report even when you have not fault for causing the accident. If you ride on the roads in the Seattle area you know driver's are not always friendly towards bicyclists.

Therefore, it is important that an investigation is completed and that all the evidence and witnesses information is gathered immediately after the accident, so that your potential injury case is protected.
